Suicide

A Church Divided Over Leaders

¹⁰ I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

I Love this verse because it basically says "lets all just drop theological arguments, come together as one and worship the lord." I really admire Paul's point, i think it would be so cool to have the Catholics  the Jews  the baptists, the Luther, the united ect. to all come together and worship God together. We all already do it we just all think about the matter slightly different!

Odd Rule for a Church

There is a church and the have a saying that is "No perfect people allowed." I complete understand their meaning of "we are not perfect" but the only problem is Jesus is perfect. So the church  pretty much just said "sorry Jesus, find a new place." I think something like "Only one perfect person for this church" or something more accepting to and opening to Jesus because after all his kingdom is inside of us and every where we are.

Swearing ... is it Really a Sin?

I have not made a blog in a very long time but i'm going to get back to it!

To start things off, I often hear Christians say things like "do not swear because it says not to in the bible." ... well no it dose not. There is no place in the bible where it says swearing is a sin. The other thing I have noticed is that people will substitute a swear word for words such as "Fudge!", "Beach!", and "crap!". All of witch mean the exact same thing. when someone substitutes a swear word for a different word it dose not suddenly become okay, it is the same thing just more sociably accept. please correct me if i'm wrong!

frustrations

Something that personally very frustrating is the fact that I get the impression from many people that I must attend church every week and go to every event the church holds and volunteer at theses things. You should not go to a church if you are forced to and I feel like the church should not tell you to serve the church but to make it an option. Also, church is something that is mandatory but it dose help. it is not the end of the world if you mill one Sunday. Church is not a set time nor a set location, it is discussing the Lord with other Christians.

Variety Of Worship

Worship music is not all hymn's! there is a large variety of styles.
Modern Music
              - Hillsong
              - Chris Tomlin
              - Side Walk Profits
              - Newsboys
These are common bands that many churches incorporated into their worship.
Classic Rock
              - Lincoln Brewster
These are bands that have a classic rock feel, lots of guitars solos!
Metal
              - Demon Hunters
These guys Play a lot oh rock/metal music. There are distorted guitars, double kicks, and screaming.
