Heaven Like The Womb Of Your Mother

Heaven is a confusing topic.  It is something unimaginable. The bible mentions heaven quite about but it always says what it is not rather than what it is. This is because heaven cannot be described. Think of it as two twins talking in a mothers womb. "What do you think it will be like out there?"
"well I don't think it will be wet and sticky"
"Can you describe it"
"No."
The twin would not be able to because he has never experienced it and never will know. They need to wait to find out. They can only describe what it will not be. This is like heaven.

Things Many Christians Will Think But Not Say

This is not the case for allot of Christians but there are a large portion of so called "Christians" who this dose apply to, i found it quite amusing to read actually.

1. "I haven't read my bible in like three months"
You do not need to read your bible but it is a way to practice living God.

2. " I total fell asleep during that prayer."
I personal do not praying with my eyes closed.

3. "Has anyone ever read the book of Zephaniah?!?"

4. "Church was really boring today."
Every time one attends church, they can always learn at least one thing from it.

Being Judged for Celebrating Halloween

There's always that one Facebook friend that puts a video or a status saying that those who celebrate Halloween are devil worshippers.

Really? My eight year old cousin, dressed as Tinkerbell, is worshipping Satan?

Dude, you must chill. True, Halloween has pagan roots, but guess what? There are no Christmas trees in the Bible. And oh yeah, Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. That day actually has pagan roots, too.

So, what are you going to do? Are you going to boycott all "commercial" holidays and enclose yourself in a shell of self-righteousness? Or are you going to celebrate those holidays in ways that honor and glorify God?

Wake up and eat some candy.

The Worst Christian Cliches

This has no order.
1. “Everything happens for a reason.”
This is inaccurate. this never appears in the bible. 

Romans 8:28

New International Version (NIV)

²⁸ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

This verse is much more accurate. all things work for good not happen for a reason.

2.“You should come to church with me on Sunday.”

When people are invited places, they generally want the option. Is should be something more like "Would you like to come to church on Sunday" , this odiously gives them an option rather than telling them what they "should" do and what they "should not" do.

3. “Have you asked Jesus into your heart?” 
First of all, why our heart? why not our skin? Or our lung? is should be our hole body and our whole life not just a small section. Secondly, He is already in us. We should ask him to work is us!

4. "I love Jesus but not Church."
The church is not a place nor a place or a time. Church is a group of people gathering together to talk about god. 

5. " When God closes a door he opens a window"
This implies that Jesus dose bad things or prevents you from good importunity's witch he dose not do.

6. "If you have enough faith __________ will happen."
NO! 

Matthew 17:19-21

²⁰ He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.Nothing will be impossible for you.”

You need as much faith as a mustered seed, why would you need more to do something smaller!

7. "God is in control."
God loves us and lets us control our own lives.

Praying With God

Here are six steps to building a relationship with god. This is not to show us where we are lacking but its to show us where we can build and go further.

Stage one:

The fist stage is inviting Jesus into our lives. Giving our Hearts to him to guide us.

Romans 10:9-10

⁹ If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Stage two:

Praying by our self alone. Praying for help in life, asking Guidance, Thanking him, etc. 

Matthew 6:6

New International Version (NIV)

⁶ But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Stage three:

Praying out loud with the lord.This is when we talk to god like a normal person, talk to him how we would to a friend. Do things like tell him how your day was. You can do this at anytime.

1 Corinthians 14:16

¹⁶ Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer,say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying?

Stage four: 

Praying with others,this affects us the most and makes the biggest impact. We often need to take a step outside our "comfort zone" but its worth it. Praying with others can be frighting at first but it ends up being very powerful.

Matthew 16:19-20

¹⁹ I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be^[b] loosed in heaven.” ²⁰ Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

Stage five: 

The relaxing step. This is when we take time and observe for answers to our prayers  They will not always be obvious. But when we get an answer its impotent to put it to use weather we like it or not. its like the saying "God Said It. . . I Believe It. . . That Settles It. . ."

Stage six:

Finally, This is when we begin to hear God's voice and clearly see his answers  This is generally the most difficult step and one cannot just achieve it they should work towards it. This can be frustrating!

Love the Lord Your God

Swear in your prayer!?! sure

Jesus wants our prayer. He wants us to love Him, its His desire. We do not need to pray eyes closed, kneeling, completely silent, hands folded (although there is a place for that).  Jesus wants us to be real. Walk around observe things Talk to him like you would to anyone. If your vocabulary has swear words in it and they are used a lot, feel free to use them because that is what Jesus wants us to be... real with him.

Don't Be Sad ... Prais Him!

During a time of worship or anytime really People often get the feeling that we are not worthy. When we feel in this situation, do not just sit down and be sad. Do something about it! Pray to Jesus give it to him and thank him for forgiveness. There is no need to ask Jesus to forgive us because he already has but we can always say we are "sorry" and think him for forgiving us. Its like the Holy Spirit, We do not need to ask him to enter us because he is already there.

Hebrews 4:14-16

Jesus the Great High Priest

Pick Your Own Path

Our lives are based off two decisions. The Easy road or the hard road. Imagine walking and seeing a fork i the road. The first path is long, wide, smooth and always "feels" good. The second, Crazy hard and narrow  Like an expert hiking trail! The first path is Satan, he deceives
 us. He makes us do things for the feeling to escape reality. Like drinking or drugs. They make us feel good. The second road is Jesus. The path to Jesus is very difficult to travel. Many people think when you become a christian everything becomes easy. but in most cases it will become harder. It takes a lot of work to follow the path of Christ on that narrow road!

1 Corinthians 10:13

¹³ No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

This Verse tells us that is it "possible" to stay on the narrow road. Because we will never be tempted so far that we cannot handle it. But this is cray difficult to do!

Atheistic Love

God is love. In that case, love is God. So because God is love then when i love someone that is God working in me. When i do something nice or caring that is God. Its interesting to think that When an atheist someone who wants nothing to do with God loves, God is working in them. As I have said before the Holy Sprite is always in us and will even work in atheists!

Hot Coals, Like Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is always in us. There is nothing we can do about it. Our body's are temples to the Holy Spirit. Some people deny this because they will say "I don't feel like he is there". This is untrue. The Holy Spirit is like hot coals. Once they are blown on them they glow. This is like us. When we "blow" on the Holly Spirit it works in us and trough us. We need to ask the Holly Spirit to work in us and through us. When we do this Great things will happen.When we continue to ask the Holly Spirit into our lives it continues to work in us and in our lives.

Should We Love Satan?

Matthew 5:43-44

Love for Enemies⁴³ “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor^[a] and hate your enemy.’ ⁴⁴ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

This is a crazy topic to talk about but Jesus tells us to love our enemy's  Well inst Satin our enemy? so should we be loving toward him? Dose Jesus love him? some people say no but why? because he when against go? well in that case, if we go against god will he hate us? No! Absolutely not! 

Psalm 97:10

Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

On another hand It says to Hate evil. So are Hate the devil and love all things good. But,

Romans 8:28

This Verse says that all things work for good. So is the devil working for good? these questions are best to be left unanswered  we should be focusing on our relationship rather than trying to find all the answers but i would love to hear opinions, Leve what your thinking is on this topic in the comment sections!

Alligator Are Dragons ... Kinda

Daniel 14:27

Someone had told me about this verse that comes up in the catholic version witch at first seems preposterous because dragons are not real but to most of the world a dragon could be an alligator because they do look like dragons. This verse is not completely crazy. but don't get me wrong, i too think it is a bit on the weird side...

One is always better that two, especially when a friend is a christian and someone to share you faith with  It is so much fun to talk about faith with friends and your experiences. I love Everything that this verse says about friends because it is all completely true. In the end friends are great to have.

A Once In A Lifetime Dream

December 25 I had an unforgettable moment. I was lost in a dream, I was walking in the desert with Paul (Biblical Paul).  He lied down and i did not know what to do but follow him. We were both lying down and he said "It is the time" We started floating up through crisp golden clouds. "Your time has come" a deep voice said. I felt so relaxed because I knew Jesus had just spoken to me. at that moment I woke up. Right there and then I prayed to God thanking him for this dream on his birthday. Just to bad i never got to see Paul.

The thing all these verses have in common is that none of them say Jesus preformed hos own miracles. All of Jesus's miracles were through the Holly Spirit! God the father sent Jesus as his only son and used him to do these things.

Great Books

Looking for a good book?!? Try The "Circle Trilogy" by Ted DEKkER. There is not direct relation to god in the whole book but it is what all the book's are based on. I'm not much of a reader but I'm hooked! Comment if you want a book review.

All things work for good. So at a time when you feel really bad desperate for something  do not be foolish and run away from your problems with sex, drugs, ext Give thanks to the lord and celebrate. Celebration does not always have to feel happy. Celebrate, as in ... give thanks to Christ when you just got dumped etc. Because we need to always give thanks to the lord at everytime. so pick up some cake and celebrate that Jesus is going to make EVERYTHING to work for our own good. This wise man who taught me such an important lesson is Ken North or my dad. I have to give him a huge thanks teaching me this lesson which has helped me out so much. Ken  recently went through a divorce and celebrated with cake. He has given thanks to the lord everyday and is the happiest man I know. god bless

Faith

        Faith

Ephesians 2:8-9

⁸ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— ⁹ not by works, so that no one can boast.

Jesus has saved us.  We are saved  through faith.
This faith did not come from yourself. When we have faith in Jesus, That is all we need. which brings me to,

Matthew 17:20

²⁰ He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.Nothing will be impossible for you.”

We do not need 100% Faith we just need the slightest bit. as much as a mustard seed and then we can do anything. That's not to say it is a great thing to grow in your faith. We so commonly put our faith in everyday things but yet can find it so hard to put it in Jesus. What i mean by this is we never go out and inspect common things like toothpaste for poison or harmful things. We put faith in it that is it safe. I always aim for this kind of faith with my relation ship with Jesus. A relationship with thoughtless faith. Something so automatic but, this can be very difficult to do. When we test our faith with God it really helps. Doing simple things like looking for answers to prayers can be such confident boosters! Its amazing to think how God works.
